Symptoms & Course

The early symptoms of Monkeypox include:

• Fever
  
• Headache
• Muscle Ache
• Shortness of Breath
• Exhaustion
• Swollen Lymph Nodes
  

A few days after the fever appears, the patient will develop bump-like formations on the skin.
A Later symptom includes:

• The bumps will undergo a course of crusting and eventually fall off

The patient will have this illness for about 2 through 4 weeks
